Duncan Carp Lake in Patrick Springs, VA now open Monday - Sunday. The hours are 9am-5pm.   Cost to fish will be $20.00 this will covering jugs and carpmaster. Anyone interested in fishing please call us the day before to ensure we are there to open the gate to let you in. Our regular scheduled fishing will begin some time in late February depending upon the weather. More details will be forth coming on times and prices!

       

 

 

The pond has been stocked with 14,000 pounds of fish just this year. 6,000 pounds on January 9th, 4,000 pounds on February 12th and 4,000 pounds on February 27th. This made a total of about 21,000 pounds total in the lake.

We are working every week to make improvement to all aspects of the lake and it's surrounding. We look forward to you all coming out and fishing with us in the future. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us.

This is a brand new pond which is totally spring fed. The pond has one main spring which flows in from the upper end of the pond. There are also several other springs within the pond, helping to fill it. The pond was completed and full of water in early 2007. The pond was first stocked with carp in February of 2008. In addition to carp, the pond also has several largmouth bass to keep the carp hatch under control. The best part of the pond being brand new is it has absolutely no pan fish at this time, and we hope to keep it this way in order to keep the carp fishing at its best.
